August 18, 2026

accomplishment

From Hon. Fernando D. Onate Jr.

Hon. NICK L. MANZO - SB member, discussed several ordinances, including the Loading and Unloading Ordinance and the Ordinance Regulating the Selling of Motor Vehicles in the Municipality of Botolan. The Punong Barangay has been given authority to enforce the ordinance against noisy mufflers. Motorcycle owners are required to remove and dispose of noisy mufflers. Additionally, stray animals have been identified as a cause of the increase in motorist accidents.

PCB President MARY GRACE S. MANANGAN presented updates on the Board of Trustees and several initiatives. Programs include the Adapt Aestas Student Program, which connects interested teachers with available students and requires a signed agreement. The Adapt PCB Classroom initiative allows participants to sponsor and name classrooms. Additionally, PCB offers a free review for graduates to support exam preparation, with this service also available at a reduced cost for non-passers. We invite everyone to register for the New Philippines Service Fare and receive free medical and other essential services.

MLGOOVI MR. NEDRICK CANLAS requests that a clearly marked pedestrian lane be established on the national road to ensure motorists come to a complete stop for pedestrians. For barangay roads, please allocate a specific number of speed humps, with the barangay chief determining placement based on areas most in need. Barangays that have not completed the Final Inventory and Turn Over Form should do so as soon as possible. Please follow up on the submission of Barangay Official Info Sheets, especially for barangays with new members. The deadline for submitting the 2024 GAB Plan Budget Accomplishment Report is March 3, 2024. Mr. Canlas extends his gratitude to all for complying with the Clean Up Barangay memo, even on short notice.

MAO MR. DON MARK D. DOLOJAN discussed the importance of properly allocating budget percentages. Financial questions—regarding burial, medical expenses, and so on—were answered.
